A little bit about us…

AG Landscapes and Gardens is a family based landscaping company operating across East Sussex. Our head offices are in Battle.

We are lead by Alfred who began his landscaping career in Suffolk almost sixteen years ago. Alfred oversees each job personally and you can expect to first meet him during the initial consultation to produce a quote. He will then be your main point of contact on site throughout the whole process from concept to finish. Alfred has always loved the outdoors and enjoys nothing more than getting stuck into the earth (getting thoroughly muddy in the process!) to create something beautiful. If you ask him what he loves most about his job, he will tell you that it’s the exciting final stages when the finished project starts to take form.

We are lucky to work with some fantastic local clients, suppliers and designers who make each project something very special. We look to tailor each project to fit the needs, vision and budget of each individual client. Whilst we endeavour to keep costs to a minimum, we will not invest in substandard materials that do not stand the test of time and we will never rush a job.

We have a small team who join Alfred on site and work with him on a daily basis. He will ensure that you are introduced to each of them at the beginning of works. And, our friendly office staff are always available at the end of an email. Sometimes, a project will require expertise beyond our skillset and, in these instances, we use a selection of trusted contractors (eg. electrician / steel fabricator) to join the team in their work. This will always be outlined in the quote and we will always make you aware of this at the start of proceedings and initiate the proper introductions when the time comes.
